Estoy oficialmente de preparativos para Navidad y toca estrenar nueva guirnalda de estrellas de ganchillo. Estrellas de ganchillo facilitas, de tan sólo 3 vueltas, como veréis en el patrón que os pongo más abajo.
Todos los años estreno guirnalda de ganchillo y este año no iba a ser menos :-)

Finalmente descarté el rosa y el naranja, y me quedé con salmón, turquesa, pistacho y violeta para combinar con el blanco.
I finally put down pink and orange colors, and chose salmon, turquoise, pistachio and violet to match the white.
He hecho una guirnalda de 16 estrellas: cuatro estrellas de cada color.
I made a garland of 16 stars, four stars of each color.
Vosotras podéis hacer tantas estrellas como deseéis para vuestra guirnalda y en vuestros colores preferidos.
You can make as many stars as you wish for your garland and choose your favorite colors.
Son muy fáciles de hacer, yo las hice en varios ratitos libres.

MATERIAL: Lace SMC-Catania Fine (white + colors of your choice)
HOOK: 1.9 mm
MEASURE: 5 x 5 cm aprox. (2” x 2” aprox.)
Note: If you work with another crochet hook or a different thickness thread, measures could not coincide.

sl.st.: slip stitch
ch/s: chain / chains
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
sc-2rnd-down: make sc inserting the hook 2 rnd down
picot: 3-chains closed picot
st / sts: stitch / stitches

rep **: repeat from * to *
Begin with an adjustable ring in a color of your choice
Round 1: Ch 3 (counted as first dc in this rnd) and make 11 dc in the ring. Adjust the ring and join to the first dc of this rnd with 1 sl. st. Fasten off.
Round 2: Change to white yarn, insert the hook in any st and ch 1 + make 1 sc; make 1 hdc + 3 dc + 1 hdc in the next st. *Make 1 sc in the next st; make 1 hdc + 3 dc + 1 hdc in the next st*; rep ** until the end of th rnd. Join to the first st of the rnd with 1 sl. st. Fasten off.
Round 3: Change to color yarn,insert the hook in any sc of prev rnd but 2 rnd down to take the loop and make 1 sc; ch 3, skip 2 sts and make 1 sc+1 picot in the next st. *Ch 3, skip 2 sts and make 1 sc in the next st taking the loop 2 rnd down; ch 3, skip 2 sts and make 1 sc + 1 picot in the next st*; rep ** until the end of the rnd. Ch 3 and join to the first st of this rnd with 1 sl.st. Fasten off. And done!
To join the star in a garland: Ch 60, insert the hook in any point of the first star, take a loop and make 1 sc; *ch 28, insert the hook in any point of second star, take a loop and make 1 sc*; rep ** to join all the stars you've made; ch 60 and fasten off.

Empezar con un anillo ajustable en hilo de un color de tu elección.
Vuelta 1: Hacer 3 cad (cuentan como el primer pa de esta vta) y hacer 11 pa en el anillo. Ajustar el anillo y unir al primer pa de la vta con 1 pe. Cortar y rematar.
Vuelta 2: Con hilo blanco, insertar la aguja en cualquier pto para coger 1 hebra y hacer 1 cad + 1 sc; hacer 1 mpa + 3 pa + 1 mpa en el siguiente pto. *Hacer 1 pb en el siguiente pto; hacer 1 mpa + 3 pa + 1 mpa en el siguiente pto*; rep ** hasta el final de la vta. Unir al primer pto de la vta con 1 pe. Cortar el hilo y rematar.
Vuelta 3: Cambiar a hilo de color, insertar la aguja en cualquier pb de la vta prev, pero 2 vtas más abajo, coger 1 hebra y hacer 1 pb; hacer 3 cad, saltar 2 ptos y hacer 1 pb + 1 picot en el siguiente pto. *Hacer 3 cad, saltar 2 ptos y hacer 1 pb en el siguiente pto insertando la aguja 2 vtas más abajo; hacer 3 cads, saltar 2 ptos y hacer 1 pb + 1 picot en el siguiente pto*; rep ** hasta el final de la vta. Hacer 3 cads y unir al primer pto de la vta con 1 pe. Cortar y rematar el hilo. ¡Y hecho!
Para unir todas las estrellas en una guirnalda: Hacer 60 cads, insertar la aguja en una de las puntas de la primera estrella, coger 1 hebra y hacer 1pb; *hacer 28 cads, insertar la aguja en una de las puntas de la segunda estrella, coger 1 hebra y hacer 1pb*; rep ** para unir todas las estrellas que hayas hecho; hacer 60 cads más y cortar el hilo y rematar.

Casi al cierre de este post he recibido una agradable sorpresa que os quiero contar: ¡mirad que regalo más bonito me ha enviado Mavi del blog "Septiembre"! Os lo cuento pasa a paso, empezando por la tarjeta que es una preciosidad: la flor es de tela cosida sobre cartulina. El marco bordado a punto de cruz es una maravilla. Es una pena que en la fotografÃa no se llegue a apreciar la maestrÃa con la que está hecho y todos sus detalles.
When I was finishing writing this post, I received a very pleasant surprise that I wish to share with you all: Look what a gorgeous present I've received from Mavi of "Septiembre" blog! I'll tell you step by step, beginning with the beautiful card: the fabric flower is sewn on cardboard. Stunning! The cross-stitch embroidery frame is a marvel. It's a shame that the picture isn't good enough to appreciate the skill level with which it's made.
Para el final he dejado la muestra de ganchillo porque es especial. La hizo la madre de Mavi a hace años y se nota porque el color amarillea ya un poco. Quiero blanquearla para aplicarla a un cojÃn y no sé qué producto usar. ¿Vosotras qué me aconsejáis? También voy a intentar hacer yo misma este motivo. ¡Es precioso!
Sigo el blog de Mavi desde hace mucho tiempo porque me encantan todas las cosas que hace y porque también comparto con ella la afición por la fotografÃa. Y estoy convencida de que a vosotras también os gustará "Septiembre".
And I left the marvelous crochet motif to the end because it's special. It was made by Mavi's mother long time ago. That's why it shows a little yellow color. I wish to apply this crochet motif on a pillow and I don't know which product I could use to whiten it. Could you help me? Also, I'll try to make this crochet motif by my own. Is so beautiful!
