He hecho un set de 4 posavasos, pero vosotras podéis hacer la cantidad de posavasos que deseéis para vuestra mesa de primavera / verano, o como regalo para familiares y amigos...
I made a set of 4 coasters, but you can do as much coasters as you wish, for your spring / summer table or as a gift for family and friends...
He elegido dos colores que me gustan particularmente: el coral y el turquesa, los he mezclado con los básicos blanco y beige, y combiné todo de dos maneras diferentes.
I chose two colors I especially like: the coral and turquoise, I mixed them with the basic white and beige colors, and finally I combined all them in two different ways.

Me ha gustado tanto hacer este nuevo motivo de ganchillo que creo que voy a hacer más cosas con él :-)

Algunas curiosidades sobre el narciso
Los narcisos representan en el mundo vegetal la frugalidad de la belleza, florecen 120 días después de haber sido plantados, pero su esplendor apenas ve 20 veces el sol.
El narciso es más un género que una planta y abarca a docenas de especies, híbridos, variedades y formas. Originarios de Europa, Asía y norte de África, fueron introducidos en China en torno al año 1.000 y llevados a América del Sur por españoles, holandeses y portugueses.
La época ideal de plantación de esta flor es entre los meses de septiembre y noviembre. Soporta bien temperaturas bajas siempre que no sean extremas y su riego ha de ser constante pero no excesivo.
La fragancia del narciso es una de las esencias más caras del mundo, fundamentalmente por sus propiedades relajantes. Los romanos ya la usaban como perfume a medio camino entre el jazmín y el jacinto.
Durante miles de años, la flor del narciso ha sido un potente símbolo en muchas culturas. Si bien su significado más conocido proviene de la mitología griega, en Asia el narciso se considera como un símbolo de felicidad y en muchos países se usa para felicitar el Año Nuevo. Pero posiblemente el país donde esta flor está más arraigada es en Reino Unido, donde se cultiva de forma masiva y donde le tienen especial devoción. De hecho, en Gales el narciso es uno de los emblemas nacionales y es usado como moneda: 1 narciso es el pago anual que recibe el Príncipe de Gales como renta de las tierras vírgenes de las Islas Scilly.

But possibly the country where this flower is most entrenched is in the UK, where it's grown massively. In fact, the daffodil flower is one of the national emblems in Wales, where is also used as currency: one daffodil is the annual payment received by the Prince of Wales as the Scilly Islands wild lands rent.
